Company 4 Fit
Company 4 Fit reasons
People are an organization’s greatest asset – and point of differentiation
Looking after your employees’ health and well-being means they are not just a number to you. You support them as individuals. You care about their day-to-day lives. You contribute to their performance at work. So, it’s not just a happier workforce you have, you even improve your company’s ability to recruit and retain talent as well! Your focus is on prevention rather than a cure
In a Danish report done by Danica Pension it was shown that exercise during working hours can increase productivity and reduce sick leave. The estimated savings on sick leave are so significant that a company with 100 employees can, in principle, sacrifice up to DKK 300,000 a year on exercise for all employees, Danica Pension estimates.
In another report it was specified that one hour of exercise per week can reduce sick leave by up to 30 % in workplaces. This was shown in a PhD dissertation, written by Just Bendix Justesen, partner atImplement Consulting Group and researcher at the Department of Sport and Biomechanics at the University of Southern Denmark.
At the same time, the dissertation indicates that exercise can also help increase productivity.
Studies indicate that our mental firepower is directly linked to our physical regimen. And nowhere are the implications more relevant than in our performance at work. Consider the following cognitive benefits, all of which you can expect as a result of incorporating regular exercise into your routine:
- Improved concentration
- Sharper memory
- Faster learning
- Prolonged mental stamina
- Enhanced creativity
- Lower stress
Exercise has also been shown to elevate mood, which has serious implications for workplace performance. The jobs we have often require us to build interpersonal connections and foster collaborations. Within this context, feeling irritable or “off-par” is no longer simply an inconvenience, it can directly influence the degree to which an employee is successful.

The benefits for the company
